The Legend…. John Cooper Clarke, known for his biting, satirical verse will be appearing at the launch of our fundraising online auction at 7.30 pm, Monday 23rd March at The Harwich Mayflower Project in the Build Shed.

The legendary performance poet will be unveiling and modelling a specially designed Harwich Mayflower gentleman’s gold ring, the first of its kind, designed by cutting edge jeweller, Stephen Einhorn.

John will be captured on camera next  to the Mayflower of Harwich ship by the extraordinary photographer JP Masclet.  ‘JP’ has worked with icons such as Judi Dench, Vinnie Jones, and has exhibited in the Pompidou Centre and the Saatchi Gallery.  www.jpmasclet.com
 
We are delighted to have Ariane Poole, celebrated international make-up artist preparing John Cooper Clarke for the shoot at the Mayflower.   Ariane has worked with the likes of Penelope Cruz, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard E. Grant, Joanna Lumley, Phil Collins and Lady de Rothschild to name but a few….  Ariane will also be donating a private one to one make-up session either at the winner’s home or at a salon in London.  www.arianepoole.com
