High Steward Chris Strachan speaks on The Mayflower Project

The High Steward, Chris Strachan spoke about the Mayflower Project and Electric Palace:

The vision, determination and hard work of all involved are making a great contribution to the wider recognition of Harwich for its vital place in maritime history and for its role in shipbuilding past and now present.
As the original idea becomes reality with ever-growing momentum the whole community will benefit from the energy and imagination of this truly inspiring project.

And everyone involved with the Electric Palace Cinema in Harwich is looking forward to screening on-going documentary film of this exciting project from construction right through to the launch and 400th Anniversary voyage to America in 2020.
